hello, alone

After around noon today, all of my best friends will be gone for the weekend. Normally I am not terribly bothered by the distance that might come between myself and the people I am associated with, but lately, things have just been a little rough. It'd be nice to have a friend around, but hey, a good book can always be all the company I need!
