Tennessee Williams

Right now we're about to begin watching A Streetcar Named Desire, which I am actually looking forward to. Usually in school we watch lame movies on writings that we aren't even interested in. I have always wanted to see this though, so I am hoping that I will like it. I'm sure I will.

Ah, and I read up a little on Williams, and I found that his sister had a prefrontal lobotomy. What a scary thing. I have been thinking about it all day cringing and getting little shivers. Icky.

It's always nice knowing a bit about the writer before reading or watching any of their work. Maybe I will check out more from him.
