I have always wanted to see an eclipse at some point in my lifetime. I was sent some sky maps and logs today, and I noticed that there was to be an annular eclipse sometime this week, but it will only be visible to parts of Africa, India, and China. Better luck next time I guess. For now I will just join the night sky.
